TLFG: 27 August - 2 September 2012

I'm keeping this week's blog relatively brief as I'm away from home and not on my own computer. In effect this means you're going to get the essential ticket and fixture information and not the weekly chat about what I've been up to and TLFG's Top 10 - hooray I hear you cry!

The week ahead is particularly busy because of Monday's Bank Holiday which sees most of our local non-league sides in action. Preparing this week's map has been complicated by the weekend's FA Cup ties which have thrown up a few replays and caused a few postponements so hopefully I've got everything right.

After some positive feedback I've continued to include a few youth football matches where the teams are playing at a proper ground (i.e. not a training ground). There are several this week of which Chelsea v Wolves is probably the most notable as it allows you access to Stamford Bridge on a Saturday afternoon for only £5. Further details about this and all games can be found on the match map below.

So without further ado, here's this week's important info:

Aside from these there are tickets going for England's World Cup qualifiers against Ukraine and San Marino at Wembley Stadium during September and October. The Republic of Ireland's friendly against Oman at Craven Cottage on 11 September is available too.

Over the next seven days there are more than 90 matches taking place in the London area. Aside from all the usual league action, we've also got a few FA Cup replays, the next round of the Capital One Cup, a big weekend of FA Vase football and several youth matches in the U21's Premier League and NextGen Series to look forward to.

With all that in mind, here's this week's match map. If you've never used it before, please note that when there is more than one match at a specific ground you'll only be able to see individual match pins if you zoom right in. If you don't, the pins obscure each other and you might miss them. To avoid this, you can also scroll down the list of games on the left side of the page to make sure you get all the information.

MATCH MAP
Yellow pin - Monday fixtures
Green pin - Tuesday fixtures
Turquoise pin - Wednesday fixtures
Magenta pin - Friday fixtures
Blue pin - Saturday fixtures
Red pin - Sunday fixtures

As always, please check with the host club whether a match is still taking place before you travel. Please also let me know if any of the details are wrong or missing.

  1. A great blog idea is to write about the things you love, not just the things that sell. You may be able to sell a lot of products or services, but if it's not something you're passionate about, so visit wadem2019.org to get new ideas for nails. This can lead to a lot of wasted time, effort and money for both you and your clients.
